A Midway está desenvolvendo mais um jogo da Série Cruis'n para o wii, vai seguir a mesma linha dos outros Arcade e contar com a jogabilidade do Wiimote!
Midway Speeds Cruis'n Exclusively to Wii
Following in the footsteps of Cruis'n USA and Cruis'n the World, a new Cruis'n game is currently under development by Midway. Designed exclusively for the Wii, the new Cruis'n game will continue the line of classic arcade racers by the end of 2007.
Using the Wii remote to steer and perform stunts, players can choose from a number of different licensed cars to race on twelve different street circuits. By winning races, players can obtain various upgrades, including turbos, body kits, neon and nitrous.
Other Midway titles announced due for 2007 includes Game Party for the Wii, a minigame collection that includes darts, table hockey, hoop shoot, and multiplayer trivia contests. Three DS titles announced include Ultimate Mortal Kombat, which combines the fighting action of the classic Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 with the Puzzle Kombat mode of Mortal Kombat Deception, as well as more casual titles The Bee Game and the wordy Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends: Imagination Invaders.
"The Wii and Nintendo DS require games that are innovative and take full advantage of a unique control scheme to offer a truly different type of gameplay experience," said Matt Booty, executive vice president - worldwide studios, Midway. "We are very excited to be bringing classic Midway franchises such as Mortal Kombat and Cruis'n along with powerful licensed content like Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends to the massive installed base of Nintendo system owners."
"Nintendo is very excited to be working with Midway to have these great brands and new products come exclusively to Wii and Nintendo DS," said George Harrison, senior vice president, marketing and corporate communications, Nintendo of America Inc. "These new games paired with the unique controls of Wii and Nintendo DS will continue to expand videogames to new audiences."
