OK, after getting lots of feedback on 2.01a (thanks guys!), I have a new build for you to try out. Once again, these changes aren't permanent, this is for experimentation only.
Thanks for helping out everyone, it's great to see over 400 people playing on the beta code at any given time.
Unless otherwise specified, includes all changes from 2.01a
O Reverted skulk health changes back to 2.0 levels
O Lowered marine upgrade costs from 30/40/50 to 20/30/40
O Umbra now blocks 2 out of 3 bullets (down from 3 out of 4)
O Reduce healing spray from 16 to 13
O Increase grenade damage from 110 to 125
O Fixed problem where specs can be heard talking before game start in tourny mode (untested)
O Fixed problem where dead players can sometimes be heard (untested)
O Fixed CURL timeout problems (untested)
O Hide opposing team score in tournament mode so you can't see how many resources towers they have (untested)
Sorry there's no linux version. I'm just doing win32 for these tests because it saves me quite a bit of time and we're still able to get all the feedback we need.

The changes in this patch are to address some problems where aliens are expand a little easily, without worrying about their original hive. This patch also brings skulks back "down" much closer to their original 1.04 level, as opposed to their near marine-equality in 2.0 release.
Clan players, I'm especially interested to hear what you think about this patch, and hope you are able to scrim on it.

requerimentos pra rodar um server com o public beta: The only requirements for downloading and running a beta server are the following:
- You must put "Beta 2.0x" in your server name, where x describes the patch. For instance, if I post a patch here that says "Beta 2.0a8" in here, then your server name must contain "Beta 2.0a8" somewhere in the name.
- Your MOTD must contain the following (you can add more if you like, but this must be present):
"This is a beta NS server and you may experience problems. Visit the public beta forum at www.natural-selection.org for more information."
These guidelines are here to make sure that players know what they're getting into if they stumble onto your server, so please follow them.
