Bom eu keria comecar esse topico frizando ao deker, doug, fastMhz e outros q vcs verao aki a confirmacao de tudo q eu afirmei no outro topico.
Nao saiam mais postando qqr merda sem endender as nocoes basicas do q vcs estao falando ok?
Bom vamos aos FATOS:
Bugs do jogo:
"Core provided Beyond3D with v49 of this game, there has been one additional, and significant change. This has to do with the "Glow" post-processing effect. Core was never happy with the way this effect turned out, both in terms of quality as well as the performance hit it involves. This effect will be totally hardwired to be turned "OFF" in the official patch."
"It looks like the "Glow" effect has a huge effect on the performance. The framerates are now much higher and ultimately means the game is so much more playable with every other setting remaining the same. "
Core shipped the incorrect Direct3D9 runtime library (they actually shipped a Direct3D8 one). You must have the correct two files in order to use the Cg compiler
"As it is, we are currently trying to find out just what exactly the differences are when the NV35 + 45.23 drivers interact with the Cg compiler and the DX9 HLSL compiler, or the actual differences between the two compilers.
Note that while the game ships with both Cg Core (cg.dll) and Direct3D9 (cgD3D9.dll) runtime libraries, Core shipped the incorrect Direct3D9 runtime library (they actually shipped a Direct3D8 one). You must have the correct two files in order to use the Cg compiler. There is no need to install anything from NVIDIA. We have provided both files right here (460kb). They are the latest Cg Core and Direct3D9 runtime libraries as far as we know but note that NVIDIA may, from time to time, release newer files (and they don't typically announce this to the public, nor have they started including these Cg files in their reference driver packages thus far). If you choose to download the files we provide, put them in Tomb Raider's \bin\ directory, overwriting the existing cg.dll which is an older version bundled with the game compared to the one within our download."
"the GeForceFX 5900PV + 45.23 drivers are applying full DOF (bright green) almost everywhere, even to half of Lara Croft's body. Having brought this to the attention of Core (the developers of this game), Core says that this is apparently a NVIDIA driver bug and that NVIDIA are aware of this."
"What we can probably surmise from this is that the 45.23 drivers are buggy or are having problems with the DX9 HLSL compiler but their Cg compiler is right on the money in so far as rendering quality/fidelity is concerned in Tomb Raider AOD."
"There is a huge difference between the images. It appears that the GeForceFX 5900PV + 45.23 drivers are applying Depth-Of-Field (DOF) effect at places it shouldn't -- even parts of Lara Croft are blurred, which definitely shouldn't be the case (Ms Croft would be annoyed if you can't see her long legs clearly). Additionally, there is significantly more blur applied on the entire scene when compared to the reference rasterizer"
We have provided new benchmarks with an effect called "Glow" disabled and the GeForceFX 5900PV performance is now very much higher, making AA almost "free".
Vamos aguardar pra nao tirar conclusoes preciptadas.
