Segundo os desenvolvedores do Aquamark, benchmark de Dx9 q deve sair no mes q vem, os resultados dos testes de Dx9 do TombRaider nao irao se repetir.
"Got an email from g__day pointing out this forum post on the AquaMark forums that is related to the GeForce FX's low Pixel Shader 2.0 performance in games. Here's a bit a developer stated that is interesting:
AquaMark3 will not have 50% and higher performance difference on the high end cards. If I remember correctly, Tom's Hardware made some benchmarks using the rather similar Aquanox2 already.
I have no idea why Tomb Raider would be so slow, especially considering that its Playstation2-quality graphics don't justify using complicated shaders. Maybe they should not have used Cg, even on NVIDIA hardware. We're using a combination of directly coded assembly, some HLSL shaders and some hand-optimized assembly of HLSL shaders. We'll be getting an advance copy of Aquamark 3 next month, and we'll find out how the high-end cards fare with DirectX 9. Also we hope to get word from NVIDIA on their thoughts with the PS 2.0 performance, so stay tuned to the site for that. "
Ps. So pra completar, o site q fez o teste com o TombRaider eh dirigido por um colaborador da Ati e do Futuremark, alem de estar promovendo um: Campeonato de Shaders patrocinado por quem? Ati...
