I have no idea how I could have missed this information earlier. Perhaps I have just read into this a bit too much or the medication from yesterday's surgery has yet to wear off. Regardless, if this information from AMD MB proves to be true we will likely see an enormous boost in success for both AMD and Apple.
Bill also spoke about the upcoming MS Windows.Net Server 2003, which is scheduled to be available starting in April 2003. He mentioned support for HyperThreading specifically as well as 64-bit architectures, but only mentioned Itanium 2 specifically. Bill probably laid off the AMD Hammer talk due to the coming announcement that AMD and Apple would be getting together and the fact that HP’s CEO was sitting right behind me (and HP did co-develop the Itanium 2 processor).
Imagina OSX no X86 processador amd alguém bota fé nessa união ?
