The Day Has Finally Come
Welcome to the CoADServer BETA V1.01.
With that being said, we present you with our server. It’s not complete, but it is to the point that we feel we need more user input rather than developer input. Now is your time as a community to show us what we can do for you, and at the same time, show us what you can do to help us.
CoAD is built to be a community orientated project. Some of you may ask how this can be considering it is not open src. Well, those of you that are familiar with the Sphere Server (for Ultima Online) will notice that our community will be much like theirs. The CoAD developers will do their best to provide you, the community, with any and all features we can support, while you will provide yourself, and the community, scripts that help make the server a better product. And of course, the CoAD devs will be working hard on scripts as well, usually to show off new sub systems within the server, or just to help advance the project.
So anyway, enough of my long windedness (is that a word?), and on to the show. In the Download section, you will find a link to the CoADServer Beta V1.01 package. This package should be setup so that you can download it, unpack it, and run it in a localhost type of setup. This package is totally capable of support multiple client from all over the world, but you will need to make the needed changes to allow this. The instructions for doing so can be found in the zip package as well as in the Documents section of our site. At this moment, this document is not 100% complete, but will be finished, and updated in the next day.
Have fun guys, hope you enjoy our product!!
