Reports are popping up from an event showing off Battlefield 1942 to the press. The very short note from the event on GamePen refutes the recent report that the game is gold (story), saying: "the game is very close to being gold, just a few minor bugs need to be worked and tweaked." In further developments, there's a post about bugs in the demo on BF42.com.de (Update: A post by Tobias at DICE to the same thread indicates this was falsified-thanks StarHawk) including some workarounds, and there is a staggering batch of 100 new screenshots up on GameSurf. The report on the press event on Command Central Battlefield 1942 offers an account of the proceedings with photos and some brief gameplay impressions. HomeLan Fed's Battlefield 1942 Press Party Report offers a brief recap and though they don't really offer impressions from their chance to play the game, they have word that work is already underway on a BF 1942 add-on:
Finally, Balthazar revealed that an expansion pack for the PC version of the game was already in the works for release in early 2003 which will include six new multiplayer maps and a number of new vehicles, among other additions.
Ou seja esse jogo vai ter um bom futuro pelo menos .
Espero que consertem os bugs que estão aparecendo na versão demo
